A floor light crafted to harmonize with modern living while utilizing traditional Japanese paper (washi) from ancient times. The paper lantern portion, known as the "hibukuro," is handmade by skilled Gifu lantern artisans. This large, round, voluminous lantern is supported by three thick oak legs. Despite its impactful size, its charming and amiable form brings a striking sculptural presence and a sense of deliberate imbalance to the space.
