A lighting fixture designed to harmonize with modern living while utilizing traditional Japanese paper (washi) from ancient times. It can be used on both walls and ceilings. Its linear form is inspired by traditional Japanese spinning tops (koma). Crafting a paper lantern (chochin) with such sharp, distinct edges is exceptionally difficult, and achieving this was only made possible through the skill of traditional artisans in Gifu. When it illuminates in the dark, those sharp edges stand out beautifully.
