Bullet dot shade is made by heating heavy cast brass to 1200-1300 degrees and cooling it in the mold. The cast creates small bumps in the surface that are carefully polished for a smooth finish. The non-coated brass will age and patina beautifully over time. The holes in the shade gradually become smaller towards the top. The perforated shade emits rays that are soft and diffuse.
