A pendant light crafted from machined cast brass.

It is characterized by the substantial weight and thickness unique to cast metal. The design, stripped down to the bare essentials to highlight the inherent texture of brass, represents the very essence of NEW LIGHT POTTERY. The flat shade minimizes light directed upward. The shade has a diameter of 150mm.

[brass] is untreated brass left in its natural state, and its appearance will change over time.

The dull, lustrous silver of [silver] is created by applying lacquer, then brushing on layers of aluminum powder and firing it. Repeating this process produces a unique textured finish.

The distinctive, uneven black of the [black] version is achieved using a traditional technique from Takaoka, Toyama, in which a liquid made from ingredients such as sake, vinegar, and iron rust—known as "ohaguro"—is repeatedly fired onto the surface to create the color.
