Bullet / brass is made by heating heavy cast brass to 1200-1300 degrees and cooling it in the mold. The cast creates small bumps in the surface that are carefully polished for a smooth finish. The dull, shiny silver color is produced by applying lacquer, then aluminum powder and baking it. Repeating this process produces the unique texture.
